Job summary

Alvarado Street Brewery in Carmel-by-the-Sea is hiring an hourly full-time kitchen cleaner/dishwasher to maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, dishwashing stations, and food prep areas, and to support the Executive Chef's standards.

You will operate dishwashing machinery, restock silverware, and assist with safe handling of chemicals and sanitation. The role requires physical endurance, ability to lift 50+ pounds, and clear communication with team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift correctly and to neatly arrange cleaned food preparation equipment.
• Ability to understand directions and communicate clearly with supervisor and co-workers.
• Knowledge of sanitation helpful
