Job summary

Won’t Stop Hospitality in Carmel, IN is seeking a Dishwasher to maintain a clean, organized back-of-house area and support a high-volume kitchen. You will clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, and equipment, while following health standards and safety policies.

The role requires attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and teamwork with BOH and FOH staff. Prior kitchen experience is preferred, and the position offers a collaborative, high-energy work setting.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or kitchen experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write and speak fluently, in the primary language of the property location.
• Basic understanding of food handling, sanitation, and prep procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the organization and flow of the dishwashing area.
• Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glassware, and utensils as they arrive throughout the shift.
• Operate commercial dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ensure all cleaned items are properly sanitized, dried, and stored according to company and health standards.
• Manage the safe use and handling of cleaning and sanitizing chemicals.
• Replenish clean dishes, utensils, and glassware to designated stations and service areas.
• Assist with light prep work as needed.
• Sweep, mop, and maintain a clean, dry, and safe working floor in the dish area.
• Demonstrate a “clean as you go” mentality at all times.
• Communicate effectively with back-of-house and front-of-house team members to support service flow.
• Adhere to Won’t Stop Hospitality Inc. policies
• Practice “clean as you go” habits and complete assigned closing or side work duties.
• Uphold all company food safety, sanitation, and labeling policies.
• Other kitchen-related duties as assigned.
