Job summary

Alvarado Street Brewery is seeking a full-time, on-site dishwasher for the Carmel/Bistro location. You will operate dishwashing equipment, maintain cleanliness, stock service areas, and support kitchen policies and safety guidelines in a busy hospitality setting.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, ability to lift and move items up to 50+ pounds, and clear communication with supervisors and teammates. Familiarity with sanitation practices is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to lift correctly and arrange cleaned equipment.
• Ability to understand directions and communicate clearly with supervisor and co-workers.
• Knowledge of sanitation is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Operate dishwashing machinery.
• Clean and store silverware.
• Maintain the highest level of cleanliness in the kitchen.
• Set-up dishwashing machines and pot washing stations.
• Maintain proper levels of chemicals in all dispensing equipment.
• Restock silverware, china, pots and pans to preparation or service areas.
• Keep the dishwashing area clean and safe.
• Take out garbage and compost bins.
• Wash and polish stainless steel.
• Clean refrigerators, freezers, stoves, ovens and related equipment.
