Waltonwood is seeking a Dishwasher to support the kitchen in delivering nourishing meals to residents. The role focuses on maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary dining area and kitchen by operating dishwashing machines and performing manual cleaning as needed.

You will work under the Culinary Supervisor or Culinary Service Director, contributing to efficient mealtime presentation and high-quality dining experiences for residents every day.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of dish cleaning practices and dining etiquette.
• Knowledge of proper food service sanitation techniques.
• Experience working in a commercial kitchen preferred.

Responsabilités

• Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glassware and other cooking utensils and place in racks to send through dish machine.
• Sort and stack clean dishes; carry clean dishes to cook’s line or storage areas.
• Wash pots, pans, trays, dishes and utensils by hand with soap and water as directed by supervisor.
• Sweep kitchen floors and ensure sanitation; take out trash.
• Mop stockrooms and report any hazards to supervisor or director.
• Adhere to all sanitation and safety standards.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by supervisor or director.
