Job summary

Waltonwood is seeking a part-time dishwasher to support our dining services in a warm, resident-focused setting. The role involves cleaning dishes, maintaining sanitation, and aiding the culinary team to deliver quality meals for our residents.

Responsibilities include washing by machine or hand, sweeping and mopping as needed, and reporting any hazards to the Culinary Supervisor. Candidates should be comfortable in a fast-paced kitchen environment and value teamwork.

Qualifications

• Experience in a commercial kitchen preferred.
• Knowledge of proper food service sanitation techniques.
• Working knowledge of dish cleaning practices.

Responsibilities

• Sort and rinse dirty dishes and place them in racks for the dish machine.
• Carry clean dishes to storage areas or line.
• Wash pots, pans, trays, and utensils by hand as directed by supervision.
• Sweep kitchen floors and mop stockrooms.
• Report hazardous situations to the Culinary Supervisor or Culinary Service Director.
• Adhere to all sanitation and safety standards.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by the Culinary Supervisor or Culinary Service Director.
