Job summary

Waltonwood is seeking a full-time Dishwasher to maintain a clean, sanitary kitchen environment for residents in our dining program. You will handle washing, sanitizing, and stocking dishes, glassware, and utensils while following safety standards under the guidance of the Culinary Supervisor or Culinary Service Director.

The role emphasizes timeliness, reliability, and teamwork within the Culinary department to support a positive dining experience for residents.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of dish cleaning and dining etiquette.
• Knowledge of proper food service sanitation techniques.
• Experience working in a commercial kitchen preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glassware and utensils and send through the dish machine.
• Sort and stack clean dishes and carry them to storage or line.
• Wash pots, pans, trays and utensils by hand as directed.
• Sweep kitchen floors and ensure sanitation; take out the trash.
• Mop stockrooms and report hazards to supervisory staff.
• Adhere to all sanitation and safety standards and assist with other duties as assigned.
