Job summary

Waltonwood is seeking a Dishwasher to keep the kitchen area clean, sanitary, and safe for residents. You will help maintain cleanliness of china, glassware, and utensils, and assist with floor care and waste removal as part of the Culinary team.

Your role supports delivering a high-quality dining experience for residents and requires adherence to sanitation standards and timely task completion.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of dish cleaning practices and dining etiquette.
• Knowledge of proper food service sanitation techniques.
• Experience working in a commercial kitchen preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glassware, tableware and other utensils; place in racks for dish machine.
• Sort and stack clean dishes; carry to line or storage areas.
• Wash pots and utensils by hand as directed by supervisors.
• Sweep kitchen floors; ensure sanitization and take out trash.
• Mop stockrooms and report hazards to the Culinary Supervisor or Culinary Director.
• Adhere to sanitation and safety standards; assist with other duties as assigned.
