Job summary

Shamin Hotels is seeking a Dishwasher and General Utility to maintain cleanliness and sanitation for dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment. You will load and unload dishwashing machines, wash by hand when needed, and keep the area stocked and organized.

In this fast-paced hotel kitchen, you must be reliable, able to stand for long periods, and flex your schedule to nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Speed, accuracy and consistency in tasks.
• Strong customer service skills required.

Responsibilities

• Collect used kitchenware from dining and kitchen areas.
• Load and unload dishwashing machines.
• Wash items by hand as needed.
• Store clean dishes, glasses and equipment properly.
• Set up workstations before meal prep begins.
• Maintain cleaning supplies stock and place orders as needed.
• Check washing machines’ operation and report issues.
• Sanitize the kitchen area and maintain a safe work environment.
• Remove garbage regularly and assist with general cleanliness.
