Job summary

Ironbound Projects is seeking a dedicated dishwasher to ensure a steady flow of clean dishes for the kitchen. You will maintain the dish station, support the culinary team, and uphold sanitary standards in a busy venue.

The role requires physical stamina, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays. Training, uniforms, and opportunities for advancement are provided.

Qualifications

• Able to stand, lift and bend for extended periods.
• Able to bend and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Clean inside and outside the venue as part of dishwashing duties.
• Store and remove garbage and soiled linens properly.
• Maintain cleanliness of dish station and BOH areas per Health Department guidelines.
• Follow supervisor instructions and work as a team.
• Operate dish machine and handle cleaning chemicals safely.
• Communicate product needs to chefs and purchasers.
• Set up dish station and perform opening/closing procedures.
• Report breakage or damage to equipment immediately.
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude.
