Job summary

Ensemble is seeking a dependable dishwasher to complete opening and closing duties, maintain clean dining areas, and support servers and guests in our Camden, NJ restaurant. You will handle dishwashing, equipment cleaning, and stock replenishment while upholding safety and professional appearance.

You must follow company policies, report hazards, and work as part of a team to ensure quality standards and a welcoming dining experience for every guest.

Qualifications

• Read and visually verify information in a variety of formats (e.g., small print).
• Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
• Move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces as well as up and down stairs and/or service ramps.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Complete opening and closing duties including storing reusable goods and cleaning equipment.
• Set up, stock, and maintain work areas; assist servers and guests in dining area.
• Inspect cleanliness of china, glass, and silver prior to use.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the day with clean-as-you-go procedures.
• Follow safety policies; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to manager; complete safety training and certifications.
• Ensure uniforms and personal appearance are clean and professional; protect company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards; communicate professionally.
• Develop positive working relationships; support team to reach common goals; listen and respond to concerns.
