Job summary

Atria Senior Living in Glendale, CA is seeking a dedicated kitchen and dining assistant to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming dining environment for residents.

You will wash, sanitize, store dishes and equipment, and assist cooks and wait staff, while supporting daily dining programs, special events, and quality food safety standards to ensure resident satisfaction.

Great teamwork and reliable attendance are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain kitchen and dining areas in a clean and orderly condition.
• Wash, clean, sanitize, and store all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and other equipment.
• Provide a high level of customer service and promote a restaurant-style dining atmosphere.
• Work with the Director of Culinary Services and/or Executive Director to keep residents satisfied with food and dining programs.
• Maintain kitchen in a clean, safe, and sanitary condition at all times.
• Wash and store all dishes and equipment in accordance with policy and procedures.
• Assist with preparation and execution of the Art of Atria Dining enhancement programs.
• Assist with transportation and storage of food and supplies.
