Job summary

Atria Senior Living is seeking a dedicated kitchen/dining assistant to maintain clean and orderly kitchen and dining areas. Responsibilities include washing, sanitizing, and storing dishes and equipment, while delivering high-quality customer service in a restaurant-style dining atmosphere.

You will work with the Culinary Services leadership to ensure residents are satisfied with food and dining programs, and help prepare for events and banquets as needed.

Qualifications

• Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain kitchen and dining areas in a clean and orderly condition.
• Wash, clean, sanitize and store all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and other equipment used in kitchen and dining areas.
• Provide a high level of customer service and promote a restaurant style dining atmosphere.
• Work closely with the Director of Culinary Services and/or Executive Director to keep residents satisfied with food and dining programs.
• Maintain kitchen and dish areas in a clean, safe, and sanitary condition at all times.
• Assist with preparation and execution of special events, banquets, and theme meals.
