• No prior dishwasher or kitchen experience required, but a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are essential.
• Ability to work collaboratively with kitchen staff in a fast-paced hotel restaurant.
• Comfort working quickly and efficiently in a high-volume commercial kitchen.
• Physical ability to stand and move for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Sweep and mop floors, wash worktables, and clean refrigerators and equipment.
• Keep surfaces free of trash and debris to maintain a safe environment.
• Scrape and wash dishes by hand or in the dishwasher; load/unload for sanitation.
• Sort and store clean china, glassware, and utensils using proper procedures.
• Assist with unloading supplies and support culinary tasks as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:

• Sweep and mop floors, wash worktables, and clean walls of refrigerators and other assigned kitchen equipment using designated cleaning chemicals
• Keep floors and work surfaces free of trash, water, and debris to maintain a safe back-of-house environment and prevent workplace accidents
• Scrape food from dirty dishes, pots, and pans, and wash by hand or in the commercial dishwasher
• Sort silverware before cleaning; properly load and unload the dishwasher to ensure sanitation standards are met
• Sort and store all clean china, glassware, silverware, chafers, coffee pots, pitchers, display pieces, and platters using proper procedures
• Assist with unloading product from supply trucks and supporting the culinary team with kitchen tasks as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned
