Job summary

White Lodging, a leading hospitality company, seeks a Dishwasher and kitchen support associate in West Lafayette, IN. You will help maintain a clean, safe back-of-house, support the culinary team, and enable great dining experiences across hotel properties.

No prior dishwasher experience required; focus on a strong work ethic, collaborative teamwork, and the ability to work quickly in a high-volume kitchen environment. Eligible for comprehensive associate benefits.

Responsibilities

• Sweep and mop floors, wash worktables, and clean walls of refrigerators and other kitchen equipment using designated cleaners.
• Keep floors and work surfaces free of trash, water, and debris to maintain a safe back-of-house environment.
• Scrape food from dirty dishes, pots, and pans, and wash by hand or in the commercial dishwasher.
• Sort silverware before cleaning; load and unload the dishwasher to ensure sanitation standards.
• Sort and store all clean china, glassware, silverware, chafers, coffee pots, pitchers, and platters.
• Assist with unloading product from supply trucks and support the culinary team with kitchen tasks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Do

• Sweep and mop floors, wash worktables, and clean walls of refrigerators and other assigned kitchen equipment using designated cleaning chemicals
• Keep floors and work surfaces free of trash, water, and debris to maintain a safe back-of-house environment and prevent workplace accidents
• Scrape food from dirty dishes, pots, and pans, and wash by hand or in the commercial dishwasher
• Sort silverware before cleaning; properly load and unload the dishwasher to ensure sanitation standards are met
• Sort and store all clean china, glassware, silverware, chafers, coffee pots, pitchers, display pieces, and platters using proper procedures
• Assist with unloading product from supply trucks and supporting the culinary team with kitchen tasks as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned
