Job summary

URBN is seeking a hardworking Dishwasher to join our back-of-house team in a fast-paced kitchen. You will help ensure service ware and equipment are clean, sanitized, and ready for use, supporting safe and efficient operations.

This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and teamwork. You’ll work with chefs and supervisors, handle dish machines, and assist with prep and maintenance during slower periods.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Must stand, bend, and reach for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in hot, wet, and loud environments.
• Strong attention to cleanliness and sanitization standards.
• Dependable, punctual, and a collaborative team player.
• Flexible availability including mornings, evenings, weekends.

Responsibilities

• Operate dish machines and sanitize all dishes and gear.
• Wash and store dishware in designated areas.
• Handle glassware and prevent breakage.
• Monitor dish machine performance and report issues.
• Maintain cleanliness in dish pit, floors, prep areas, and trash areas.
• Assist with deliveries, prep tasks, and general maintenance during slower periods.
• Take direction from chefs and supervisors.
