Job summary

Resort Lifestyle Communities in Maine is hiring a Dishwasher / Kitchen Prep to support residents' dining experiences. You will wash and sanitize tableware, stock the salad bar, and assist in keeping areas clean.

No culinary experience is required; the role starts with a 6:30am to 3:00pm Sunday-Thursday schedule and requires you to be 18+ and able to read and understand basic English. A food handler permit may be required within two weeks of first day.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to read, speak and understand basic English.
• Able to obtain food handler permits as required by local ordinances within first two (2) weeks of first day of employment.
• No previous culinary experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate the dish machine and report mechanical issues.
• Wash, store, and handle all tableware and kitchenware; maintain a clean dish room.
• Clean food prep areas and assist in dining room duties like bussing tables and delivering room-service orders.
• Safely use ovens, steamers, grills, and kitchen tools to support daily food preparation.
• Respond politely to food comments or complaints and report concerns to leadership.
• Perform support work including trash removal.
