Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a Kitchen Team Member to maintain dishwashing duties and overall cleanliness of the kitchen area. You will support customer service, assist with deliveries, and ensure adherence to health and safety regulations while upholding the store's standards.

The role requires reliability, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays. No prior retail experience is required, with emphasis on teamwork and strong work ethic.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Standing/walking 6-8 hours in an 8-hour shift.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Exposure to cleaning chemicals and variable temperatures.
• Adherence to health, sanitation, and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Washes, rinses, and sanitizes dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and small wares.
• Maintains cleanliness of floors, mats, drains, walls, and shelves in the kitchen area.
• Assists with kitchen deliveries including proper storage, organization, and rotation of products.
• Arrives on time, groomed and ready to work; covers shifts and attends trainings.
• Provides courteous customer service, addresses customer needs promptly, and models suggestive selling techniques.
• Maximizes sales through proper prepping, storing, rotating, stocking and merchandising products.
• Follows procedures including health and sanitation and safety guidelines.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary environment; ensures equipment is kept to standards.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; reports safety hazards.
• Performs other duties as assigned by leadership.
