Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a dependable dishwashing/kitchen support team member in Del Mar, CA. You will wash and sanitize dishes, maintain a clean kitchen area, and assist with deliveries and product rotation while delivering friendly, efficient service to customers and fellow Team Members.

The role emphasizes adherence to health and safety regulations, participating in required trainings, and supporting store programs and initiatives as part of a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to stand/walk for 6–8 hours in an 8-hour shift.
• Work in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency.

Responsibilities

• Washes, rinses, and sanitizes dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and small wares.
• Maintains cleanliness of kitchen floors, mats, drains, walls, and shelves.
• Assists with kitchen deliveries including proper storage, organization, and rotation of products.
• Arrives on time and ready to work; attends required trainings and meetings.
• Provides excellent customer service and helps customers and Team Members as needed.
• Preps, stores, rotates, stocks, and merchandises products to maximize sales potential.
• Follows health, sanitation, and safety procedures; maintains clean working environment.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; checks signs and pricing; reports hazards.
