Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a dishwashing teammate to maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and support daily operations. You will wash and sanitize dishes, assist with deliveries, and help keep floors and shelves clean while providing courteous service to customers and team members.

The role requires punctuality, teamwork, and adherence to health and safety standards. No retail experience is required; ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods is expected.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Stand for 6-8 hours in an 8-hour work day.

Responsibilities

• Washes, rinses, and sanitizes dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and small wares.
• Maintains cleanliness of floors, mats, drains, walls, and shelves in the kitchen area.
• Assists with kitchen deliveries including proper storage, organization, and rotation of products.
• Arrives to work station on time, appropriately groomed, dressed and ready to work; works all scheduled shifts and attends required trainings and meetings.
• Provides excellent customer service, addresses needs of customers in a timely and effective manner and models suggestive selling techniques.
