Job summary

FRCG in Wichita, KS is seeking a dedicated Kitchen Dish/Utility Team Member to maintain cleanliness of dish areas, equipment, utensils, and serviceware, ensuring efficient operations and an exceptional guest experience. You will operate the dish machine, scrape and rinse, wash and sanitize wares, and store items properly while keeping the three-compartment sink and surrounding space orderly.

This fast-paced role requires teamwork, reliability and attention to safety when handling cleaning

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old to operate designated equipment, or as required by state and local regulations.
• Ability to work in a team environment and maintain a positive attitude.
• Ability to stay organized and perform effectively in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and verify that the dish machine is functioning properly and that chemical levels are maintained throughout the shift.
• Scrape and rinse food from dishes, and properly load and operate dishwashing equipment.
• Wash, sanitize, and properly store all utensils, glassware, and dishware.
• Clean pots, pans, and cooking equipment by hand using proper warewashing procedures.
• Sort, remove, and dispose of trash and garbage in designated areas.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dish area and surrounding workspaces.
• Sort, stock, and organize clean glassware, utensils, and dishware.
• Change dish machine chemicals, water, and maintain the three-compartment sink as needed.
• Support team efficiency by maintaining a steady flow of clean items for kitchen and service staff.
• Contribute to a positive guest experience by ensuring cleanliness and supporting timely service.
• Additional Duties: Clean, sanitize, and mop various areas of the kitchen and restaurant.
• Work closely with BOH and FOH Team Members in a fast-paced environment.
