Spago Beverly Hills in Beverly Hills, CA is seeking a Dishwasher to uphold the highest cleanliness standards for glassware, tableware, cookware, and kitchen equipment, using both machine and manual cleaning methods. This role supports the back-of-house team in a safe, sanitary, and high-performing culinary environment.

You will sort, rinse, load, and unload dishes, monitor wash temperatures, and assist as needed to maintain a smooth operation.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED preferred.
Minimum 1 year of dishwasher experience.
Knowledge and proper practice of sanitation, food safety, and general hygiene standards.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

Sort, rinse, and load dirty dishes into dish racks for machine washing.
Unload, sort, and store clean items; transport to storage areas or cooks’ lines.
Rewash items as necessary to ensure cleanliness and sanitation standards.
Monitor wash cycle temperatures and notify management if unsafe temperatures occur.
Wash pots, pans, and equipment by hand as required.
Set up and clean the dishwashing area before and after service.
Maintain cleanliness around exterior dumpster areas and floors.
