Whiskey Cake in Texas is seeking a reliable Dishwasher to maintain a smooth flow of clean service ware and cookware, supporting the kitchen and dining team. The role emphasizes efficiency, cleanliness, and adherence to safety standards.

You will set up and operate the dishwashing area, ensure proper water temperatures and sanitation, and assist with prep tasks as needed. A Food Handler’s Certification is preferred, and the employer participates in E-Verify.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Stand for long periods.
• Lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Properly use a knife and other equipment required to execute necessary tasks.
• Maintain a current Food Handler’s Certification and practice proper sanitation procedures.
• E-Verify employment eligibility for all hires.

Responsibilities

• Interact with guests and coworkers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Set up/break down dishwashing machine; wash all tableware, silverware, pots, and pans promptly.
• Keep dishwashing area and stainless steel clean and dry.
• Monitor water temperatures and chemical levels.
• Rewash items when necessary to ensure cleanliness.
• Store all clean China, glassware, and silverware properly.
• Maintain clean and dry floors and walk-in areas.
• Follow health and safety regulations and maintain certifications.
