Job summary

Whiskey Cake is seeking a Dishwasher for the La Cantera location in San Antonio, TX. The role focuses on delivering a smooth flow of clean service ware and maintaining a safe, organized kitchen area.

Responsibilities include operating the dishwashing machine, washing all tableware and cookware, and ensuring proper storage and sanitation. E-Verify participation is noted; a Food Handler’s Certification is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Stand for long periods.
• Lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Maintain a current Food Handler’s Certification and practice proper sanitation procedures.
• We participate in the E-Verify program. As part of our commitment to maintaining a legal workforce, we verify the employment eligibility of all new hires through E-Verify.

Responsibilities

• Interact with guests and coworkers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Set up/break down dishwashing machine and wash all tableware, silverware, pots, and pans.
• Monitor water temperatures and chemical levels; ensure cleanliness and organization of dishwashing area.
• Store clean china, glassware, silverware, and small wares properly throughout kitchen and restaurant.
• Respond to verbal requests from kitchen staff in a timely and professional manner.
• Arrive on time for scheduled shifts and wear proper uniform.
