Job summary

Whiskey Cake Kitchen & Bar is seeking a Dishwasher to ensure a smooth flow of clean service ware and pots throughout the kitchen and restaurant. Responsibilities include operating and maintaining the dishwashing area, monitoring temperatures and chemicals, and upholding sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Maintain a current Food Handler’s Certification and sanitation practices.
• Comfort with knife handling and kitchen safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Interact with guests and coworkers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Set up/break down dishwashing machine and wash all tableware, silverware, pots, and pans promptly.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen and dishwashing area.
• Monitor water temperatures and chemical levels, ensure cleanliness of items.
• Follow health and safety regulations and proper sanitation guidelines.
• Arrive on time, wear proper uniform, and communicate effectively with team.
