Job summary

Whiskey Cake in Round Rock is seeking a Dishwasher to maintain a steady flow of clean dishes and support a fast-paced kitchen.

You will operate and monitor dishwashing equipment, keep areas clean, and help with prep as needed; a current Food Handler’s Certification is required. Benefits include medical insurance for eligible hourly workers, 401k after 1 year, and multiple growth pathways.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Stand for long periods during shift.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and handle heavy items safely.
• Maintain a current Food Handler’s Certification and follow sanitation procedures.

Responsibilities

• Interact with guests and coworkers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Set up/break down dishwashing machine. Wash all tableware, silverware, pots, and pans in a timely and orderly manner.
• Keep dishwashing machine landing area and stainless steel clean and dry.
• Monitor the machine for proper water temperatures and chemical levels.
• Monitor all items for cleanliness; rewash when necessary.
