Job summary

Whiskey Cake is seeking a Dishwasher in Plano, TX to ensure a smooth flow of clean wares and maintain a safe, organized kitchen. The role involves operating the dishwashing station, washing tableware and pots, and supporting the kitchen team throughout each shift.

Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness, monitoring temperatures and chemical levels, proper storage of items, and adhering to health and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Be able to handle kitchen equipment and follow sanitation procedures.

Responsibilities

• Interact with guests and coworkers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Set up/break down dishwashing machine and wash all wares, pots and pans.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized kitchen and dishwashing areas.
• Monitor water temperatures and chemical levels; rewash items as needed.
• Properly store clean china, glassware, silverware and small wares.
• Follow health and safety regulations and maintain a Food Handler’s Certification.
• Arrive on time for shifts and wear proper uniform.
