We are hiring immediately for full-time DISHWASHER positions.

Location: Uber Chicago Cafe - 433 West Van Buren Street, Chicago, IL 60607. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, hours may vary (mornings); more details upon interview.

Requirement: One year of previous dishwasher experience is preferred but not required.

Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Maintains dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen, work areas, equipment, and utensils in orderly and sanitary condition.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or in dishwashing machines, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation.
2. Washes pots, pans, and trays based on assigned procedures.
3. Polishes silver using various methods, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation.
4. Ensures compliance with safety procedures.
5. Maintains proper temperatures and chemical levels.
6. Keeps dish area orderly and safe.
7. Sweeps and mops kitchen floors.
8. Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and other surfaces.
9. Removes trash and cleans garbage cans.
10. Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
11. Helps load and unload supplies and products.
12. Performs other duties as assigned.
