At Tangled Roots we take pride in "embracing your nature”. Would creating a unique
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This individual will be a part of the kitchen staff to help maintain cleanliness around the restaurant. They will provide the action necessary to distribute clean dishes to the kitchen staff as well as the front of house staff. Ultimately, they will assist in providing a clean and unforgettable dining experience for our guests.
PRIMARY DUTIES INCLUDE
• Collect used kitchenware from dining and kitchen areas
• Load and unload dishwashing machines
• Wash specific items by hand (e.g. wooden cutting boards, large pots, and delicate China
• Store clean dishes, glasses, and equipment appropriately
• Set up workstations before meal prep begins
• Ensure there are always enough clean dishes, glasses, and utensils, especially during peak hours
• Maintain cleaning supplies, stock detergents, and allow management to know when we need to place orders
• Check washing machine operations and promptly report any technical/ performance issues
• Remove garbage regularly
• Sanitize the kitchen area, including the floor
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
• Ability to follow instructions and help others
• Time management skills
• Attention to detail in sanitation rules
• Ability to stay positive under pressure
• ServSafe Certified within two weeks of employment
