Job summary

True Food Kitchen in San Diego is seeking a dishwasher to support a fast-paced kitchen and maintain spotless tableware, cookware, and prep areas. You will operate and maintain the dish machine, ensure sanitation, and assist with restocking shelves as needed.

We offer flexible AM, PM, and mid-day shifts with part-time or full-time options up to 40 hours per week, plus health care options and dining discounts for staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in dishwashing or kitchen cleanliness a plus
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Comfort standing for extended periods

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the dish machine; ensure proper sanitation levels and report issues
• Wash, store, and rotate all tableware, cookware, glassware, and utensils
• Hand-wash pots, pans, and specialty items using a 3-compartment sink
• Maintain a clean and organized dish room, kitchen, restrooms, and prep areas
• Keep up with linen and trash removal, sweeping, mopping, and breaking down boxes
• Assist with receiving deliveries and restocking shelves
• Support the team with flexibility to ensure smooth restaurant operations
