Job summary

True Food Kitchen in Walnut Creek is seeking a dishwasher to keep the kitchen spotless and ready for service. You will operate and maintain the dish machine, wash, store, and rotate tableware, and support a fast-paced restaurant operation.

Prior dishwasher or kitchen experience is a plus but not required. You should be comfortable standing for extended periods and committed to cleanliness, reliability, and teamwork, with flexible AM/PM shifts and both part-time and full-time options.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the dish machine; ensure proper sanitation levels and report issues.
• Wash, store, and rotate all tableware, cookware, glassware, and utensils.
• Hand-wash pots, pans, and specialty items using a 3-compartment sink.
• Maintain a clean and organized dish room, kitchen, restrooms, and prep areas.
• Keep up with linen and trash removal, sweeping, mopping, and breaking down boxes.
• Assist with receiving deliveries and restocking shelves.
• Support the team with flexibility to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
