Job summary

P.F. Chang's China Bistro, Inc. is seeking a Dishwasher to maintain a safe, sanitized dish area, wash ware, and keep the dish room clean and organized, supporting kitchen staff during peak periods.

Starting pay ranges from $16.50 to $19.50 per hour, with benefits including a 401(k) plan, medical/dental/vision insurance for eligible team members, paid sick leave, discounted meals, and an employee referral program. Hiring immediately for full-time or part-time roles.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must possess a current Food Handler’s Card, where applicable.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with team members.
• Learn about all chemicals used in the building and ability to use them properly.
• Ability to work around various temperatures in kitchen.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Operates an industrial dishwasher.
• Wash dishes, sweep/mop floors, clean and maintain equipment, sanitize utensils and maintain all areas of the restaurant.
• Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment or utensils in clean and orderly conditions.
• Clean food preparation areas, facilities or equipment.
• Execute proper sanitation practices and safety procedures; place clean dishes, utensils or cooking equipment in storage areas.
• Empty and clean all trash receptacles.
• Provide assistance to prep cook and other kitchen staff during peak times, including basic prep; load or unload trucks delivering supplies.
• Open, close and perform side work.
• Clean up spills or broken glassware immediately.
