Job summary

P.F. Chang's China Bistro, Inc. is hiring immediately for full-time or part-time Dishwashers.

The position offers a pay range of $12.00 - $15.00 per hour with benefits for all team members and eligibility for additional benefits for qualifying teammates. You will maintain a safe, sanitized dish area, washing and sanitizing wares, pots, pans, and cooking equipment while keeping the dish room clean and organized.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must possess a current Food Handler’s Card, where applicable.
• Excellent customer service skills and etiquette.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with team members.
• Learn about all chemicals used in the building and learn to use them properly.
• Ability to work in warm to very warm kitchen temperatures.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Operates an industrial dishwasher.
• Wash dishes, sweep/mop floors, clean and maintain equipment, sanitize utensils and maintain all areas of the restaurant.
• Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment or utensils in clean and orderly conditions.
• Clean food preparation areas, facilities or equipment.
• Execute proper sanitation practices and safety procedures.
• Place clean dishes, utensils or cooking equipment in storage areas.
• Empty and clean all trash receptacles.
• Provide assistance to prep cook and other kitchen staff during peak times.
• Load or unload trucks that deliver or pick up food or supplies.
• Perform opening, closing and side work.
