Job summary

STK Steakhouse in Carmel, IN is hiring a Dishwasher to support our kitchen operations. You will help maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation standards while assisting the BOH team to ensure a seamless dining experience.

This is a full-time, on-site position requiring the ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs. Night, weekend, and holiday availability is preferred to meet high-volume service demands.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a dishwasher or kitchen support role is preferred.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans efficiently and consistently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in dishwashing areas, kitchen stations, and storage spaces.
• Operate dishwashing machines and ensure they are stocked with proper chemicals.
• Assist with removal of trash and recycling, ensuring proper waste disposal procedures are followed.
• Keep kitchen floors, drains, and workstations clean and free of hazards.
• Work collaboratively with the BOH team to keep service running smoothly.
