Responsibilities

• Operate commercial dishwashing equipment to clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, and pans.
• Load and unload dish racks and organize for efficient washing and drying.
• Sort and store clean dishes, utensils, and equipment.
• Inspect dishes for residue or debris before loading into the dishwasher.
• Hand wash delicate items when needed.
• Assist in cleaning and maintenance of kitchen equipment.
• Sweep and mop floors to maintain a clean and safe area.
• Empty garbage bins and recycling containers regularly.
• Assist with receiving and storing deliveries.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines and use cleaning chemicals properly.
• Notify culinary management of equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs.
• Perform other kitchen duties as assigned.
• Maintain a positive, professional attitude in a fast-paced environment.
