Job summary

Palette Hotels is seeking a Dishwasher to support the kitchen and food service operations on-site at our Pennsylvania hotel. The role involves sorting, washing, and returning dishes to food operations, while maintaining a clean workstation and expediting clean utensils to the cook's line as needed.

Ideal candidates may have prior stewarding experience and a service-oriented mindset. This position emphasizes health standards and efficient workflow in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Previous Stewarding experience preferred.
• Service orientation. Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.

Responsibilities

• Properly fill and maintain the dish machine. Maintains cleanliness standards of the machine according to health department guidelines.
• Unload dish machine, stack, store, and return dishes and utensils to proper areas in both the kitchen and other food service areas.
• Empty garbage cans in the dish area and throughout the kitchen as needed.
• Maintain dish area including floors, walls, and counter areas within standards of the hotel and health department guidelines.
• Sweep and mop floors in the dish room and kitchen.
• Clean and replace floor mats.
• Restock areas with required supplies.
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
