Job summary

Palette Hotels is seeking a Dishwasher to sort, wash and return dishes and utensils to food operations across the hotel. This role ensures a clean, efficient workstation and supports the cook's line as needed.

Responsibilities include operating and maintaining the dish machine, restocking supplies, and upholding health guidelines throughout the dish area and kitchen. The position emphasizes reliability, teamwork, and adherence to safety procedures in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Previous Stewarding experience preferred.
• Service orientation and knowledge of customer service principles.

Responsibilities

• Properly fill and maintain the dish machine and keep it clean per health guidelines.
• Unload dish machine, store and return dishes and utensils to proper areas.
• Empty garbage cans in the dish area and kitchen as needed.
• Maintain dish area floors, walls and counters to hotel/health standards.
• Sweep and mop floors in the dish room and kitchen.
• Replace and clean floor mats as needed.
• Restock areas with required supplies.
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Job Description:

The Dishwasher will sort, wash and return dishes and utensils to food operations throughout the hotel. To maintain a clean and efficient workstation. To expedite clean dishes and utensils to the cook's line and other areas of Food and Beverage on an as-needed basis

Required Skills and Requisites:

• Previous Stewarding experience preferred.

• Service orientation. Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Properly fill and maintain the dish machine. Maintains cleanliness standards of the machine according to health department guidelines.
• Unload dish machine, stack, store, and return dishes and utensils to proper areas in both the kitchen and other food service areas.
• Empty garbage cans in the dish area and throughout the kitchen as needed.
• Maintain dish area including floors, walls, and counter areas within standards of the hotel and health department guidelines.
• Sweep and mop floors in the dish room and kitchen.
• Clean and replace floor mats.
• Restock areas with required supplies.
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
