Job summary

PENN Entertainment is seeking a hotel/restaurant kitchen dishwasher to support dishwashing operations in a fast-paced setting. You will prepare, wash, and restack tableware and cookware, keep areas clean, and assist with general sanitation duties in the kitchen.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, six months of kitchen experience, and a sanitation certificate. You must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs, with Maryland Lottery License eligibility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months' kitchen work experience preferred.
• Sanitation certificate from local Health Department required.
• Must be able to obtain Maryland Lottery License.

Responsibilities

• Prepares tableware for washing.
• Collects all soiled pots, washes and restacks cleaned pots on shelves.
• Responsible for removal of garbage and refuse.
• Mops and sweeps floors.
• Washes walls and ceiling tiles.
• Cleans and sanitizes all cooking equipment.
• Proper maintenance and distribution of company assets.
• Sets up dishwashing machine.
• Stacks and stores clean dishes in proper kitchen areas.
