Job summary

Newk’s Eatery is seeking a Dishwasher & Dining Room Attendant. You will help keep the restaurant clean and organized behind the scenes and in the dining room to ensure a welcoming guest experience.

The role offers paid training with no prior experience required, flexible scheduling to fit school and family commitments, and opportunities to grow into kitchen or leadership positions within a positive, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Wash, rinse, sanitize, and properly store dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment.
• Keep the dish area clean, organized, and operating efficiently throughout each shift.
• Empty trash and recycling containers and maintain clean waste areas.
• Sweep and mop kitchen, dining room, and service areas.
• Clean and sanitize tables, chairs, booths, beverage stations, and guest touch points.
• Restock dining room supplies, beverages, condiments, napkins, and utensils.
• Maintain clean and fully stocked restrooms.
• Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries when needed.
• Support kitchen and front-of-house team members during busy periods.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department standards.

What You’ll Do

Physical Requirements

• Stand and walk for extended periods
