Job summary

Alterra Mountain Company is seeking a seasonal dishwasher at Schweitzer in Sandpoint, Idaho. You will maintain cleanliness of dishes, glassware, and utensils, operating dishwashing equipment and handwashing, to support kitchen operations and guest dining experiences.

Team-oriented role with opportunities for full-time hours seasonally and access to employee benefits. Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs in a fast-paced resort kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• Must have basic English reading, writing and communication skills.
• Experience in restaurant kitchen or dishwashing preferred.
• License/certifications for food safety preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize dishware, glassware, and utensils using machines and handwashing.
• Maintain steady workflow by ensuring a continuous supply of clean items.
• Restock detergents, sanitizers, and cleaning solutions to prevent disruptions.
• Follow safety and sanitation standards and wear non-slip shoes.

This role ensures the kitchen and dishwashing areas are clean, safe, and organized, supporting overall kitchen operations and contributing to a positive dining experience.
