Levy at UW – Madison is seeking a Dishwasher to support Camp Randall Stadium & The Kohl Center Arena. In this fast-paced, team-driven kitchen, you will clean dishes, maintain sanitation, and help keep the dining operations running smoothly.

The role offers a pay range of $17.00 to $18.00 per hour, with an extra $5 per hour for football game days, and opportunities to grow within a respected national hospitality company.

Qualifications

• Restaurant experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to stand long hours and lift 20–40 lbs.
• Positive, team-oriented attitude.
• Ability to work with supervisors to maintain cleanliness and safety.
• Comfort with slip-resistant shoes and proper lifting techniques.

Responsibilities

• Dish cleaning: wash dishes, pots, and trays; sanitize.
• Kitchen cleanliness: wash worktables, refrigerators, and prep surfaces.
• Trash removal: empty waste; keep containers sanitary.
• Safety & sanitation: follow procedures and maintain cleanliness.
• Floor maintenance: sweep and mop floors.
• Equipment care: maintain dishwashing area; report issues.
• Stocking & transporting: assist with supplies transfer.
• Team collaboration: work with supervisors to run kitchen smoothly.
• Additional duties as assigned to maintain efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dish Cleaning:Scrape, rinse, and wash dishes, pots, pans, and trays by hand or using the dishwashing machine, ensuring they are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized.
• Kitchen Cleanliness:Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food prep surfaces tomaintaina sanitary environment.
• Trash Removal:Remove trash and waste, placing it in designated containers. Clean and steam garbage cans tomaintaina hygienic kitchen space.
• Safety & Sanitation:Follow safety and sanitation procedures at all times, ensuring that kitchen areas and equipmentcomply withcleanliness standards.
• Floor Maintenance:Sweep and mop kitchen floors, ensuring that they are kept clean and safe for all kitchen staff.
• Equipment Care:Maintainthe dishwashing area, ensuring all equipment is functioning properly, and report any issues to the supervisor.
• Stocking & Transporting: Assist with the transfer of supplies and equipment between storage and work areas, helping with the unloading and loading of supplies.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with supervisors and team members to ensure the kitchenoperatessmoothly and efficiently, always adhering to company sanitation and safety standards.
• Additional Duties:Assistwith any other tasks as assigned to ensure the overall cleanliness and efficiency of the kitchen.

Qualifications:

• Experience:Restaurant experience is preferred but notrequired.
• Physical Stamina:Ability to be on your feet for long hours and move 20-40 lbs of kitchen supplies.
• Positive Attitude:A strong willingness to contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment.
