Job summary

Levy Restaurants at the University of Wisconsin‑Madison seeks a Student Athlete Dining Attendant to support dining operations at Camp Randall Stadium and the Kohl Center Arena. You will help deliver exceptional service, ensure food safety, and maintain clean, organized service areas in a fast-paced, team‑oriented environment.

We offer flexible AM and PM shifts with weekday and weekend availability, summer and fall seasons, and opportunities to grow within a national hospitality leader.

Qualifications

• Able to work in a fast-paced dining environment.
• Willing to obtain ServSafe certification if not already certified.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Flexible AM/PM shifts with weekend availability.

Responsibilities

• Transport food boxes and supplies for meal service.
• Maintain stocked, clean, and visually appealing serving areas.
• Ensure hot/cold foods are kept at safe temperatures.
• Restock and prepare service areas for upcoming meals.
• Follow all safety and sanitation procedures.
• Support team operations and perform additional duties as assigned.

Job Summary

Summary: Join our team as a Student Athlete Dining Attendant and play an important role in delivering an exceptional dining experience for UW-Madison student athletes. This position supports dining operations at both Camp Randall Stadium and the Kohl Center Arena, working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment where quality service, food safety, and attention to detail are essential.

We offer a variety of shifts to fit different schedules, with opportunities available weekdays and weekends. Candidates must have at least two days of weekday availability and be willing to work weekends as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Transport hot and cold food boxes and supplies to ensure efficient meal service.
• Monitor food quality and quantity, keeping serving lines fully stocked, clean, and visually appealing.
• Ensure all hot and cold food items are maintained at proper and safe temperatures.
• Remove leftover food following meal service and properly dispose of waste.
• Clean and sanitize food service areas before, during, and after meal periods.
• Prepare service areas and equipment for upcoming meal periods.
• Restock paper products, dry goods, condiments, and other supplies as needed.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
• Assist with maintaining an organized, professional, and welcoming dining environment.
• Support team operations and complete additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Ability to work efficiently and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work independently when needed.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Effective communication skills and a positive, team-focused attitude.
• ServSafe Food Handler Certification, or willingness to obtain certification upon hire.
• Ability to work flexible AM and PM shifts as business needs require.
• Must be available to work during the summer and fall seasons.
• Must be available to work weekends.
• Previous food service, hospitality, catering, or related experience is preferred.
