Job summary

Atwater is seeking a dedicated Dishwasher to support our kitchen operations in Baltimore. You will wash dishes, maintain clean work areas, and help manage waste and floors. Availability is 20–30 hours per week with mandatory Saturday and Sunday shifts.

You should be able to follow instructions, work independently, and stand for extended periods while lifting up to 50 pounds. ServSafe certification is preferred to ensure food-safety standards are met.

Qualifications

• Have or acquire a ServSafe certificate preferred.
• Stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Bend and lift loads, not exceeding 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and/or pans using a dishwasher or by hand.
• Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Sort and remove the trash, placing it in the designated area. Clean garbage bins.
• Sweep, mop, and scrub floors.

Position Overview:

As a Dishwasher, you will be responsible for all functions relating to the maintenance of the Kitchen at Atwater’s. You will also be required to ensure a positive company image by providing, “service that makes your day” to customers and staff members.

Availability: 20 - 30 hrs/week

• Mandatory Saturday & Sundays
• Closing shifts

Responsibilities (include but not limited to):

• Produce dishes and other Atwater’s menu items that are consistent with Atwater’s standards.
• Prepare elements for dishes as necessary.
• Monitor inventory of food and supplies.
• Communicate inventory needs to supervisors.
• Maintain a clean workspace and kitchen.
• Follow and demonstrate proper health sanitation practices.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
• Demonstrate a work ethic consistent with the Atwater’s team.
