Job summary

Paradies Lagardère is hiring a part-time Dishwasher in the Saint Louis area. You will help keep the dishwashing area clean and organized, sanitize all wares, and assist with deliveries and general cleaning tasks in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

The role emphasizes reliability, teamwork, and adherence to safety standards, with a morning shift from 6:00 AM to 12:30 PM, Monday through Sunday as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous dishwashing/food service experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized dishwashing area during the shift.
• Ensure all items are cleaned, sanitized, and stored properly.
• Assist with cleaning floors, walls, and workstations.
• Remove trash and recycling and transport to disposal areas.
• Replenish cleaning supplies and notify when low.
• Assist with receiving and storing deliveries as needed.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, health, and safety regulations.
• Support kitchen operations with basic cleaning tasks.
• Identify and correct potential hazards to maintain safety.
• Complete opening, ongoing, and closing cleaning duties as assigned.
• Work with kitchen and front-of-house teams to support operations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Position Summary

The Dishwasher is a critical member of the restaurant team responsible for maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and organization throughout the kitchen and food service areas. This part-time position supports restaurant operations during the morning shift and ensures dishes, utensils, cookware, kitchen equipment, and workstations remain clean and ready for use. The Dishwasher plays an important role in maintaining food safety standards and creating a safe, clean environment for both team members and guests. Duties and Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using established procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized dishwashing area throughout the shift.
• Ensure all kitchen and service items are properly cleaned, sanitized, and stored.
• Assist with cleaning kitchen floors, walls, workstations, and food preparation areas.
• Remove trash and recycling and transport materials to designated disposal areas.
• Replenish cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies are running low.
• Assist with receiving and storing deliveries as needed.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, health, and workplace safety regulations.
• Support kitchen operations by assisting with basic cleaning and organizational tasks.
• Help maintain a safe work environment by identifying and correcting potential hazards.

Position Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Previous dishwashing, janitorial, restaurant, or food service experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.

• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
• Availability to work a part-time schedule with open availability Monday through Sunday from 6:00 AM to 12:30 PM, including weekends and holidays as business needs require.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Ability to frequently bend, stoop, reach, lift, and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in environments with varying temperatures, including hot and humid kitchen conditions.
• Ability to safely handle cleaning chemicals and kitchen equipment.
• Ability to perform repetitive motions throughout the shift.
