Job summary

Oakmont of San Jose, operated by Oakmont Management Group, is seeking a Dishwasher to support our senior living community in California. The role involves keeping the dish area clean, transporting dishes to the kitchen, and ensuring sanitation in the dish room and dining areas.

You may interact with residents and staff to address needs and ensure safety and service quality. Qualifications include at least 6 months in a kitchen or similar setting, being 18+, a high school diploma or equivalent,

Qualifications

• Six (6) months of experience in a kitchen or similar setting.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Written and verbal skills to interact with staff, physicians, residents and families.
• Pass Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests (TB).

Responsibilities

• Prepare dish room/area prior to meal service.
• Transport dishes to the kitchen, wash and sanitize, and return to storage.
• Assist with kitchen cleanup and sanitation of dish room, dining areas, and equipment.
• Respond to resident concerns and complaints professionally.
• Maintain a safe environment for staff, residents, and guests.
• Encourage teamwork across departments.
