Job summary

Oakmont Management Group operates Oakmont of San Jose, a premier senior living community in California. The Dishwasher role supports our kitchen operations by ensuring dishes are clean, sanitized, and stored, while upholding our standards of safety and resident care.

The position offers a 6am-2pm shift Tuesday through Saturday with a pay range of $18.50 to $19.50 per hour, and benefits including medical, dental, vision, paid time off, and other employee programs.

Qualifications

• Six months of kitchen or similar setting experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to interact effectively with residents, families and staff.
• Able to pass background and health screenings, TB test included.
• Compliance with health, safety and PPE guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dish area prior to meal service.
• Transport and return dishes to kitchen; wash and sanitize.
• Break down kitchen area and perform sanitation cleanup.
• Respond professionally to resident concerns.
• Maintain a safe, secure environment per safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork across departments.
