High 5 Hospitality Group seeks a dedicated Dishwasher to support daily kitchen operations across our family of brands, ensuring clean dishes, utensils, and equipment for service.

This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and teamwork in a dynamic environment with flexible scheduling and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not required.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift at least 40 lb.
• Attention to detail to ensure items are cleaned and sanitized.
• Team-oriented, able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.
• Willingness to adapt to a fast-paced kitchen and assist with various tasks.
• Ability to access online scheduling apps.

Responsibilities

• Operate dishwashing machines and manually wash pots, pans, and utensils.
• Clean and sanitize all dishes and cooking equipment per health regulations.
• Organize and stack clean dishes and utensils for easy access by staff.
• Maintain and report maintenance needs for dishwashing equipment.
• Dispose of trash and recycling; keep the kitchen area clean and organized.
• Assist kitchen staff with food prep tasks when not washing dishes.
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
• Be available to fill in as needed to support kitchen operations.

Position Overview

The Dishwasher is an essential member of the kitchen team, responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards by washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment. This role ensures that the kitchen operates smoothly by providing clean and sanitized items for food preparation and service. The Dishwasher supports overall kitchen efficiency and contributes to a positive dining experience for guests.

Duties and Responsibilities

Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Washing Dishes: Operate dishwashing machines and manually wash pots, pans, and utensils.
• Cleaning and Sanitizing: Ensure that all dishes and cooking equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized according to health and safety regulations.
• Organizing: Properly sort and stack clean dishes and utensils for easy access by kitchen staff.
• Maintenance: Regularly maintain dishwashing equipment, report any malfunctions or maintenance needs, and communicate any supply needs to Management.
• Trash Disposal: Dispose of trash and recycling as needed, keeping the kitchen area clean and organized.
• Assisting Staff: Support kitchen staff by assisting with food prep tasks when not washing dishes.
• Adhering to Safety Standards: Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
• Availability: Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisor.
