Job summary

Sea Oaks Beach and Tennis is seeking a dependable Dishwasher to join our Culinary team. The role focuses on maintaining a clean, sanitary kitchen, washing dishes, and assisting with basic cleaning and food-prep tasks.

The ideal candidate can stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and communicate in English. Employment eligibility in the United States is required; this position may require background checks.

Responsibilities

• Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes and utensils.

• Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Store clean dishes and supplies properly.
• Monitor cleaning supplies and notify management for replenishment.
• Assist line cooks with degreasing ovens, fryers, grills, and hood.

We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our Culinary team! The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining a clean, organized and sanitary kitchen by washing dishes, utensils, cookware, and equipment, as well as assisting with general kitchen cleaning, sanitation and organization.

Essential Roles and Responsibilities:

Essential roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
• Operate and maintain the commercial dishwashing machine safely and efficiently.
• Keep dishwashing areas, kitchen floors, sinks, and workstations clean and organized.
• Remove trash and recycling and maintain clean waste disposal areas.
• Assist the Culinary team with basic cleaning and food-preparation tasks as needed.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace-safety procedures.
• Properly store clean dishes, cookware, and supplies.
• Monitor the stock of cleaning supplies and notify the Culinary management team when any supplies need to be replenished.
• Clean the garbage cans, placing a new liner in the can once cleaned.
• Assist the Line Cooks with the cleaning and degreasing of ovens, fryers, grills, and the hood system on a regular basis.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, the Dishwasher must:

• be able to stand for extended periods of time (8+ Hours).
• be able to move 50 pounds on an intermittent basis.
• be able to bend, stoop, lift, reach, push, pull, twist, walk, crouch and squat.
• possess reasonable ability to communicate in English.
• have employment eligibility in the United States.
