Job summary

The Rinks at Great Park Ice and Sports Complex in Irvine, CA is seeking a part-time Dishwasher to support the Food & Beverage team during arena events.

You will handle cleaning, dishwashing, sanitation, and assist other departments as needed; must meet health code requirements and hold EFOOD Handlers certification; hours vary with events.

Responsibilities

• Work in culinary, preparation and pantry spaces throughout arena.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and dishwashing areas.
• Complete station setup and breakdown responsibilities.
• Ensure clean dishware is stored.
• Clean and maintain sanitation areas.
• Practice proper work procedures and safety and sanitation standards.
• Maintain the organization of all chemicals and cleaning supplies; including storage of mops and brooms.
• Ensure clean wares are stored appropriately.
• Be comfortable with the arena and assist guests as needed.
• Support other Food & Beverage departments as needed.
• Work with F&B leadership to ensure event standards of service.

Job Title: Dishwasher

Pay Details: The starting hourly rate for this position is $20.00 per hour.

The Dishwasher/Steward is responsible for supporting kitchen operations by adhering to all sanitation standards. This is a part-time, event-based position located within the Food and Beverage Department of Great Park Ice and Sports Complex. Hours for this position fluctuate depending upon arena event schedule.

Responsibilities

• Work in culinary and preparation and pantry spaces throughout arena
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools, including dishwashing machine, hand wash stations and pot scrubbing stations
• Thoroughly complete all station set-up and breakdown responsibilities
• Ensure clean dishware is stored
• Clean and maintain sanitation areas
• Practice proper work procedures and safety and sanitation standards
• Maintain the organization of all chemicals and cleaning supplies; including the proper storage of mops, brooms, etc.
• Ensure clean wares are stored appropriately
• Be comfortable with the arena and know how to navigate personally, as well as, assist guests.
• Support any other Food & Beverage departments as needed.
• Work with counter parts of operation to ensure event standards of service are reached.
• Help maintain and ensure excellent customer service
• Partner with the F&B Senior Leadership to ensure a successful operation
• Other responsibilities and tasks as deemed appropriate by the F&B management team.

About the Rinks

The Rinks Development Program launched in 2009, and consists of seven local hockey and skating facilities throughout Southern California: six ice rinks - Anaheim Ice, Lakewood Ice, KHS Ice, Yorba Linda Ice, Poway Ice and Great Park Ice, as well as one inline facility - Irvine Inline. The Rinks offer a variety of hockey and skating programs for participants of all ages and ability levels.
