Saint Joseph's College of Maine, located on Sebago Lake, is hiring for the position of full-time Dishwasher.

Responsibilities include:

• Maintaining a safe and clean work environment by cleaning cookware, small wares, and items used in food production and service.
• Practicing cleaning-as-you-go and following established cleaning procedures.
• Ensuring utensils, plates, glasses, etc., are available for guests without compromising cleanliness.
• Assisting chefs with basic food preparation and working across various food service stations.

Qualifications and skills:

• Food Safety certification (ServSafe or equivalent), with valid certification provided within 120 days.
• Strong communication skills.
• Teamwork and a positive attitude.
• Interest in training and learning new skills.
• Knowledge of proper cleaning and sanitation procedures per Maine State Food Code.
• Adherence to OSHA PPE guidelines.

Work conditions and benefits:

• Night and weekend hours; forty hours per week, twelve-month position.
• No late nights; dinner service ends at 8:00 PM.
