About O-Ku Alys Beach

O-Ku offers a modern take on Japanese cuisine with a menu featuring signature starters, contemporary entrees, and seasonal sushi. Its waterfront and rooftop settings provide a unique dining experience with fresh seafood sourced from Tokyo, Hawaii, and local suppliers.

The Role

As a dishwasher, your primary responsibility is to ensure all kitchen and dining ware are properly cleaned and sanitized, supporting the smooth operation of the kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Load, operate, and unload dishwashing machines while maintaining a clean dish room.
• Monitor water temperature to ensure effective sanitation and report mechanical issues.
• Manage supplies of detergents and cleaning materials, and ensure availability of clean tableware.
• Handle trash removal from the dishroom to designated dumpsters.

Requirements

• Knowledge of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures.

• Effective communication skills with staff and guests.
• Flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
